Ala Ajal

Synopsis:

A short documentary about the reality of the sport of boxing in Baqa’a refugee camp. The film depicts three main axes: firstly, the story of the protagonist, a boxer from a family of boxing professionals. Secondly, the socio-economic difficulties hindering him from practicing boxing full-time. And Thirdly, the story of the boxing club, and how it has become a space that has created a safe haven for the camp’s children, getting them into something productive and giving them a real outlet.

فيلم وثائقي قصير حول لعبة الملاكمة في مخيم البقعة. تظهر ثلاثة محاور أساسية: البطل وهو لاعب ملاكمة، سليل ملكية الرياضة. كيف يواجه الكثير من البطولات؟ يذهب الفيلم إلى نادي المخيم الذي أسسه الكابتن محمد عشيش، ليجعله ملاذًا لأطفال المخيم من الانحراف، ومتنفسًا وحيدًا لأبناء المخيم، الذين مارسواً هذه اللعبة، وخرّج النادي منهم أبطالًا إلى العالمية.
