After running aground in the middle of the ocean, a couple -owners of a small family tuna company- has survived by eating only canned tuna. She desires to be saved, sending rescue messages by empty tuna can. He wants her. His efforts to keep her at his side will become the vehicle of her freedom.

Director Bio
Miguel Otálora is the creator, script-writer and director of the short film One Serving Per Can. He is a Colombian animator and illustrator with +10 years of experience. Born at Tunja (Boyacá), he graduated as Graphic Designer from Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 2005 and obtained his Classical Animation Diploma from Vancouver Film School in 2010. He has worked for many productions in Canada, Mexico and Colombia, including the internationally awarded TV shows Rick and Morty (as Animation Supervisor), Solar Opposites (as Animation Supervisor) and Las Crónicas Elefantiles (as Director and Creator).
