Synopsis

summer 2021, in Damascus city, after years of war, some young emerging directors roamed the city’s streets to follow their dreams and shoot their first movies with the simplest available tools. so, the city would open her arms and hug them day and night with her streets and neighborhoods

 

الملخص

صيف 2021 في مدينة دمشق، نزلت مجموعة من المُخرجين الصاعدين إلى شوارع المدينة لمتابعة أحلامهم المتوقفة منذ مدة طويلة، وتصوير أولى أفلامهم بأبسط الأدوات المتاحة، لتفتح المدينة لهم ذراعيها وتحتضنهم ليلاً نهاراً بأحيائها وشوارعها وأبنيتها.

Director Bio

Independent film director, editor and producer. Palestinian nationality, born in 1987, residing in Syria. I graduated as an assistant decorator and interior designer in 2009, and I have completed several film workshops. I Directed the short narrative film “An Ordinary Day” 2020 and the short doc “Summer, City and a Camera” 2022. Currently working on projects as a director, “Man Lived After the Battle”, “Six Feet Under” and working on others as a producer on the “House Number 7” project, and A co-producer on the “On the Edge of the…” project.

مخرج ومحرر ومنتج أفلام مستقل. فلسطيني الجنسية من مواليد 1987 ومقيم في سوريا. تخرجت كمساعد ديكور ومصمم داخلي في عام 2009، وأكملت العديد من ورش العمل السينمائية أخرجت الفيلم الروائي القصير “يوم عادي” في 2020 والوثائقي القصير “صيف، مدينة وكاميرا” في 2022. أعمل حاليًا في إخراج فيلمين “رجل عاش بعد المعركة”، و” على عمق ستة أقدام ” كما أعمل على أخرى كمنتج منها فيلم “منزل رقم 7″، ومنتج مشارك في فيلم “على حافة الـ …”.
